当前形式的分析 - 通缩的怪圈

【燕王按】经济上有两个“怪圈”：通缩和滞涨。本王小时候游泳，
知道远离漩涡。通缩和滞涨都是漩涡，进去了，就不容易出来。

【正文】

诸位大部分没有见过通缩的怪圈 – deflationary spiral。现在美国经济
已经进去了。往后，各种事情弄不好就都会走一遍。都会怎样呢？

会N年出不来 – 后果是很严重的。

通缩，简单说就是货币流通量大幅减少 – 钱更值钱 – 各种物价下跌。

听着好像是不错 – 你昨天1美刀可以买若干东西，如果留到今天，
就可以买更多。情况在昨天到今天这个时间尺度上是这样的。
但是，且慢。

在通缩里面，你的不动产会贬值 – 美国现在房市就很不好 – 贬值。

你昨天1美刀可以买1个Big Mac，如果留到今天，就可以买两个。
可是，麦当劳怎么办？盈利剧减。不错，牛肉价格下降了，可是，
能让工人减工资吗？不能。所以，就干脆不干了。

当然，这个例子举的不十分恰当，因为1美刀1个Big Mac是不会
变化太大的 – 生活必需品。

更可能的是其他的：房子，油价，股票，一切的不动产和所有的
能够“省”的东西。你明年不去Hawaii，省钱行吗？后年去更便宜！
很多人会这么想。

所以，美国的GDP – 用美刀衡量 – 就会下降。

怪圈-2：国际贸易

为了简单，本王就以Ford为例。

今年一辆Ford卖20k，明年通缩，只卖15k -如果产量不变 – 巨亏
而且估计会倒闭。

可是，假如欧元大幅贬值，弄得BMW和Ford成本都差不多了
（极度夸张，但是，你知道这意思），那Ford还卖得出去吗？

所以，美元通缩就会严重影响美国经济 – 尤其是出口。

就会有公司倒闭 – 所以通缩可能对个人有好处，但是，对经济，
对公司绝对是坏处 – 尤其是服务业 – 因为服务业里的最大成本
就是工人工资 – 而这是几乎无法降的。只有裁员，或者倒闭。

怪圈-3：出得来吗？

很难。进了漩涡，怎么也得跟着转几圈。

通常，小型的通缩可以通过控制下的通胀来解决 – 就是印钞票 –
比如Bush同志给每人发600美刀买糖果。

可是，现在很困难。第一，通缩闹大发了 – 60 trillion美刀的坏账
等着算 – 街上叫“去杠杆化” – 就是蒸发钱。

用本王的话，就是deflation。

你看看，700 billion美刀，打起个水花没有？可见漩涡有多深！

第二，美国已经一屁股债。又是贸易大国。美元还是储备货币。
美元的利率接近0！

所以，美国的货币政策十分难走 – 因为条件太多 – 条件太多，
就可能没有解！

A， 大量增加美元 – 就是印票子，容易一下倒掉 – 信心危机。
B， 少量增加美元，无法减缓美国国内通缩。美元继续上涨，就会
影响出口，同时，进口增加。砸了市场。

1, 进口大量增加，就会加剧本土papa-mama store的倒闭，工人失业。
2，跨国公司原则上可以在国外生产，卖回美国，赚美金。但是第一，
因为美金上涨，所以越挣越少。第二，属于严重的饮鸠止渴。

所以，这个问题大了。大到本王也没办法了。大家听天由命吧。

但是，记住一点，在deflation之中，cash is king！

【后记】

前几天，谈了国际贸易货币，估计3-5年，美国也受不住了，要求部分
取消美金的国家存储货币身份。

至于“滞涨”，暂时没有危险。以后再说。
