Cupertino is in Santa Clara County and the rent limit for section 8 would be the same as in San Jose. The market rent in Cupertino is way above $2442 for 2 bedrooms. Nobody would like to rent to section 8 in Cupertino or the very good neighborhood in Santa Clar county. The property is in a good neighborhood. The owner might be desperate 7 years ago for accepting the section 8. Then too kind hearted to increase the rent or do not want to go through the process for rent increase.
