I have more info about abk on my blog:
http://www.gurufocus.com/news.php?id=34381
MBI is stronger than ABK, abk is more undervalued at current price. I have been trading in and out of ABK, MBI, AGO for the last 4 months. Returns are pretty good so far. Made money on abk today too. ABK is really good for trading, up and down big. I only have core positions which I would not sell. But I am ready to trade on it any time. As long as abk is under its book value of 6.6, it is relatively safe. Moody's is reviewing abk, may give out a credit downgrade on mbi and abk. Market is discounting this risk heavily, that is why abk's price is so low.
This is an article about bond insurers including abk
