Just a couple of months ago, by the time oil reached $145/barrel, no one predicted stagnation or deflation. They were all scared by inflationary pressure laying ahead.
Then, oil came off like a rock. Ones started talking about deflation and stagnation, or "slow recovery" scenario.
In such a market where "new" technologies keep everyone on the same page promptly, all money can flow into one corner just a few hours, even a few minutes, what can you predict?
Now, it seems to me that no one is expecting inflation. But who knows?
Uncertainty is all I can predict.
