存这点够给孩子上大学吗

50万现金，两个孩子3-5年内上大学，我知道公立肯定够，要是都上私立大学，不算生活费，就学费杂费和住宿费，不要考虑拿这50万再投资啥的，基本够吗？不够的话还需要大致多少？
