the only depression we had was 1929 one, back then, chinese community was isolated from outside, nobody knows what was the jobless rate in chinese community, I guess nobody cared back then too.

chinese people did not get chance to go out of china town until WWII, because massive labor was needed to make gun, bullets and tanks etc.

I think reading somebody about chinese american history might help you a little bit.

are you referring to in the next depression chinese will face higher unemployment rate than others ? then the question is how do you know the future ?
