Cannot just change the circuit breaker. Could cause fire.

you didn't say your dryer is gas or electric.

They use different circuit breaker.

assume it is gas dryer.

first you have check the amperage rating of your dryer.

if less than 15A, you don't have to change 20A. you dryer may have problem.

if great than 15A and less than 20A, you can change to 20A circuit breaker. you also need to change 12AWG wire.
