一直在纽约郊区租房住，房租几乎年年涨。今年有了宝宝，决定买房。因为租房房子比较小，房租又很贵（一个月两千多）。 俺们穷，附近的房子实在买不起。看了半年，最后定在离曼哈顿越一个半小时车程的地方。学区较好，有火车直达曼哈顿。房子是新建的一家庭独立COLONIAL。3卧两个半浴一车库。居住面积越2300SQF。房子外形很一般，但是地比较大，一英亩多一点，又是CUL DE SAC。我们家跟小区其它房子有一条很小很小的小溪隔开。环境还不错。卖方（建筑商）出价40万被我们砍到38万。地税据说在7000左右。
