The springs are broken

I had similar issue for three windows. Asked three big name window contractors, they either asked to replace the entire window or find the original model information of windows for them, which is impossible because the lables are gone. Later I tried a Mexcian handyman. He took the windows off, and took the side sliding parts off. The springs inside were broken. He brought the parts to a local window making company and ordered the same parts and placed them back.  $200 in total.
