We have been told to diversify year after year. (理论）Can people diversify his portfolio with only $100K? Are you kidding me? say, you bought GLD (ETF: GOLD) for 50K a year ago. It is now sky high - happy, huh? Don't forget about diversification. The same time you, as a first time buyer, put $50K down for your new home which is now falling like stone, :(

What do u get now?

My point is that all are relative speaking, diversify, diversify,diversify, or location, location, location...

世上没有绝对的事儿。To diversify is conditional. To different people, location doesn't mean the same.
