才知道原来估价是这么估的:

我家与邻居家的地界相连的大概３０米左右，其余地段全是参天大树和藤蔓密布的树林，之间两家无交界. 为了阻止邻居家租客的两条从不系狗链的大恶犬再来我院子shit并伤到人, 准备在两家之间这个３０米左右的地界间竖个篱笆。两条恶犬几次看到我在院子里收拾都是发出呜呜的声音并朝我冲来 ,投诉过,但county animal control说没收到投诉信。咱现在是惹不起这家黑兄弟姐妹租客,打算竖个6 foot vinyl篱笆了事。怀念以前military officer那家租客，一对夫妇加两个孩子，总是把房东的院子收拾的漂漂亮亮的。现在这家经常一大群人到院子里搞BBQ，音乐开得振山响，还总是放鞭炮烟花，院子里也弄得杂草丛生，不忍目睹。

昨天Ｈome Deport的一个contractor终于来估价了。他只目测了一下， 然后报价９８００刀。当我问他这个是多少米的价格，从地界的哪里到哪里，他手一指那片树林的尽头和院子另一头的一颗树说"from there to there"。 我说树林里我不需要个篱笆，你就看看两家交界的这段竖个篱笆多少钱。他眼珠子滴溜一转就报价３８００刀，从头至尾没有量一下地界。才知道原来估价是这么估的。
