Now the gov. will become the biggest mortgage bank in history (already 400B spent in subprime and BSC). Gov. is talking about another 300B package to stem foreclosures. that is totally 700B dollar. Fed's asset is $800B in total. This means, if the bill signed by Bush, the gov. is the biggest subprime mortgage company - almost 100% of total asset is in bad loans.
