How to convince non-local tenants to believe I am the owner of a

A non-local tenant responded to my Craigslist Ad showing interest in renting my rental house, but he is hesitate to pay half of the deposit to reserve the house because we haven't met and he doubts I am not the owner..

What should I do to convince him and what documents I can show him?

Appreciate any thoughts.
