投资问题请教

老公海归上海，由于家庭原因要在上海买套房子，目前我们手头有约40万美元存款。想出约22万美元在上海付首付。还剩下18万美元，不知道该怎么投资。国内贷款利率高，是不是应该再多付些首付在上海的房子，还是应该在三藩的livermore买个condo作为投资房?目前在三藩工作，但是没有自住房，我将来可能要中美两边跑。这点钱在三藩附近能买成小condo吗？还是有更好的投资方案？大家帮忙给点指导意见，谢谢啦。
