毛时代娱乐生活贫乏，从北韩、罗马利亚、南斯拉夫、越南这些共产党国家进口了少量的电影。其中南斯拉夫电影《桥》的插曲《啊，朋友再见》，以其脍炙人口的旋律红遍中国。
出国后发现在欧洲和北美几乎人人会唱这首歌，才知道原曲是19世纪的意大利民歌不是南斯拉夫的。重新填词后的歌名“Bella Ciao”也不是《啊，朋友再见》。 Bella 在意大利语里是美丽的意思。这里当然是小伙上战场向心爱的姑娘说Ciao，与苏联红军战士唱《喀秋莎》一样。因为毛不爱红装爱武装，就粗暴地把姑娘译为朋友（同志）。毛自己的私生活荒淫无度，却吝啬到连一丝丝人间的温存都不愿留给中国人民。
时间到了2020年COVID爆发，意大利，西班牙，德国实施封城，不少困在家里的人到阳台上唱Bella Ciao排泄负面情绪。 我十分好奇Bella Ciao如何成了欧美人表达defiance的音乐符号，于是到Wiki上查了一下，发现了2018年的一个严肃的考证： Morrone, Luigi (10 July 2018). "La vera storia di "Bella ciao", che non venne mai cantata nella Resistenza" [The true story of "Bella ciao", which was never sung in the Resistance].
有意思的是，直到1953年，号称是左派游击队队歌“Bella Ciao”的歌词才发表。没有任何人证物证证明，意共游击队或任何巴尔干地区的反法西斯抵抗运动的战士唱过“Bella Ciao”。
然而，我对Wiki关于“Bella Ciao”原曲调来自19世纪的意大利女稻农之口的观点，是能身同感受的。因为我下过乡，插过秧。脚陷稀泥，蚊蝇扑面，蚂蝗吸血，头顶骄阳，腰累得直不起来，那不是人过的日子。
