"事实就是事实"

A fact (事实) is a partial truth. It can serve to provide truth or to eclipse it.

翠绿 always use a fact to eclipse truth. It isn't a matter of education or logic but honesty in argument.

You can't argue with dishonesty.

Dishonesty in argument comes from insincerity of the individual carrying the argument. Which, I suspect, comes in turn from a weakened personality. Which, in turn, is a natural consequence to perpetual denial of one's own culture, history and people.
