But frankly I like neither western music nor literature. I think their music is rigid, their literature unhealthy. This has nothing to do with national pride. Or unless you think my taste is very bad.

Regarding the intelligence of Chinese people and the quality of Chinese civilization, or the quality of western civilization, your view may evolve. Let's not predict the future.
