I met two Okinawans.

A man, and a girl, the man was my coworker. Neither of them considered himself/herself Japnanese. They seemed very negatvie about Japan. The man had warn inspirations about Chinese civilization. He said I reminded him of his passed grandpa ( Though he was older than myself. I was in my 30s).   The girl said, the Japanese used her people as cannon fodder in WW2.
