THERE was a time when meadow, grove, and stream,
The earth, and every common sight,
To me did seem
Apparell'd in celestial light,
The glory and the freshness of a dream.	5
It is not now as it hath been of yore;—
Turn wheresoe'er I may,
By night or day,
The things which I have seen I now can see no more.
1 曾几何时小溪、树林和草原 大地和所有普通景象, 对我而言 都像披上了天光 梦一样明亮新鲜。 如今再也不是往昔；-- 无论我到哪里去 无论黑天白日 再也看不到了曾经目睹的往事。
