【母亲节】混血儿母亲：香港续篇

上回说到、母亲所以不成为孤儿，就因为有原本是保姆的阿娘。广东话：‘’亲娘唔及养娘大‘’。

母亲继续讲她的故事：

我不忍立即抛下阿娘回美國本乡去，因此决定留在中国。我的少女脑袋里，中国早不是异国了。一往情深地相信文革已被革去了，中国开放了，人民有自由染各种颜色的头发了，形势真正的大好。不然，为什么老外们如蚁附膻地跑来中国？荷里活（好萊坞）的大明星也争着到长城为中国、更为自己宣传。美国又闹着中国热。中国是全世界的宠儿。我还有理由撇下阿娘跑回美国去吗？可是，当我给阿娘坦言以上的心底话后，她只是微笑，轻轻吐出一句广东话：“你真係個傻猪女嚟嘅。”傻猪女？不懂事的娃娃？她点头，随即再补上这一个字：跑！为什么还要跑呢？谁知阿娘不让寸步，四个坚持：跑跑跑跑。

于是，十六岁考上了大学的我，选择参加了一项中美交换学生计划，到美国伊利诺伊州〝勤工俭学〞去了。〝十年人事几番新〞。差不多十年后，我重临旧地。原来是第一故乡的美国成了第二故乡，原来是第一语言的英语成了第二语言。在美国读大学时、我又给自己一项重大任务：保证阿娘可以安享晚年。于是、我申请在两年内完成四年的大学课程，批了。

十八岁那年、我拿了一个榮誉社会科学学士(Honor Degree of Bachelor in Social Sciences)銜头回中国去，开始了我的全职打工生涯。侥倖地，工作算是順利。不过，阿娘又提出她的四项坚持来。不得已，我只好跟她妥协，成功申请调职到香港去。同时，通过种种不宜详说的人事关係，给阿娘搞了个离境赴港的“单程证”。于是，阿娘就跟我住在香港。早上，我和阿娘一起上〝茶楼〞〝飲茶〞，〝叹一蛊两件〞(广东话：喝茶、吃茶点)。〝飲茶〞后、阿娘喜欢到〝榕树头〞(一个地名)去逛逛，跟老乡们谈天说地。看见阿娘开心的样子，我不禁又在心里感激上帝了。
