The Restrictions:

No other private schools: If you apply to one of these four early, you generally cannot apply to any other private college's Early Action or Early Decision programs.[6]

Public schools are okay: You are typically still allowed to apply to any public university (like the University of California system or your state flagship) as long as their early application is non-binding.

International schools are okay: You can usually apply to universities outside the U.S. (like Oxford or Cambridge) at the same time.
