His defense is overrated!!

I like his aggressiveness and enthusiasm. Defense, however, is to build up a wall between the offense and the basket, with four fundamentals: Mental, Physical, Technical, and Communication. The way he moves as if he was always stealing something.  A good defender installs court intelligence to help read and react to the offense - I have barely seen these skills in his games.  More importantly, his body build was just not the type of player to effectively cover the long tall strong guards on the Portland team. Lin should start  in this series.
