The Cowboys might be in trouble in 2014,

salary cap-wise.

The Cowboys are currently more than $ 21 millions over the 2014 salary cap (the cap will be increased to $126 millions this year).  They have to get under the cap before March (or early March).

DeMacus Ware and Hammy Austin are most likely to be cut.  Both special team aces, Chris Jones and Dan Bailey respectively, are free agents.  One of the few bright spots in defense, Jason Hatcher, will be hitting the market too.

FYI, Tony Romo is responsible for $13,500,000 alone.

I wonder who else Jerry Jones will release before he can gather enough money to sign an extra TE
