I don't see any reason it should be different for DH12. As the saying in NBA, "get your big man involved at offense early!".

It's not the best situation for Lin, for sure. But we need to calm down a little bit, if we are looking for every single minute or every single gesture from any teammate, and intepret it as something negative towards Lin. Games will become unwatchable. After all, it's still a basketball game. Let's enjoy the game, while cheering for Lin.
