How many HOF players turned into better than average Coach?

There are a few hunderds HOF players, Why so hard to find an average coach from them?

1.M Jordan, bball god, a horrible owner, coach ( at wizzard), picked an absolutely worst #1 pick.

2.Isaiah Thomas is one of the best floor general, worst GM & coach in NBA history

3....

So far, Mchale failed miserablely at TimberWolf as Coach. The owner was so pissed off by him.

Why great players fail as coach, maybe they think they know bball better than all others and MOST OF THAM ARE MEGALOMANIAC.

Last year he single handedly killed Rockets playoff run by stiring up many unnecessary players rivalrys, therefore team lost all chemistry and desire to fight together.

 

Let us see what drama for next few weeks.

 

The saying "You can't teach an old dog new tricks" is never be more true.
