I wouldn’t assume that Linsanity was all about

being in the right place at the right time. In the game with the Spurs, it was apparent the criteria that existed in the Knicks also existed in the Rockets without Harden.  Jeremy's success requires him to have more dominance over the ball with more game time.  When stronger and more seasoned players are on his team, he does not have these tools available to flourish.  As the season evolves, we hope that he works hard and hones his skills; his current style of playing is insufficient to continue his growth in the NBA.  He perhaps needs to adapt and learn to maximize his current strengths while playing with fellow 'all stars' on his team, additionally he also requires to get more experience to overcome his weaknesses on ball handling on his left side and become a more consistent shooter.

Linsanity was not being in the right place at the right time, rather it was a set of criteria that Lin needed to succeed.
