Melo and Stoudemire are proven players

in NBA and they earned their big contracts.  untill today, Melo is not over priced.  when Amare signed with the Knick, he was not overpriced.  The first year he played for the Knick he was an all star that very productive.  As of now that he is injury and I am not going to judge a player when he is injury.  By the way, they joined the Knick before Lin, so when Lin became free agent, the Knick salary structure with Melo and Stat already there.
