to the Knicks, he could simply tell the team he would accept the full mid level. I believe the Knick would give him that contract because they gave the second priority FA Novak a 16m/4year deal. Lin at time was the first priority and he should had no problem getting 5m/year. the Knick even made it known that they will match the less poised Rocket contract of 5/5/9. well, they tricked the knicks and they got what they wanted. fortunately we got Felton and we move on well.
