really understand it. NBA is not a video game and you can casually put anybody in any team with any other players. It needs 天时地利人和。There are many factors affecting any contract.

Gasol was not as good as Yao. He is really lucky that he got chance to play with Kobe, even though we do agree that he is a very good player. Otherwise, from any technical aspect, any data field, Yao is always better.
