Just browsed through this thread, there are too many

things to disagree with. More importantly, there are too many things were distorted from facts and reality.

1. Bonzi Wells did NOT come here with less money to hope for a ring. He and his agent screwed up royally to turned down the 35 million offer from the Kings. They tried to play the hard ball, and it back fired. He fired his agent on the spot. At the time he signed with the Rockets, NO TEAM offered more. A player wasn't made by ONE playoff series. Wells has talent, but certainly isn't game changing dominant force. The series against the Spurs were right situation, matchup, on his contract year. Surely, JVG has his fault, but to paint it as if he ruined a highly motivated, super talented and ambitious guy in Bonzi, you are kidding yourself. That fat-a$$ couldn't even dunk!!! In those 30 games he played, name me ONE single game he played great.

2. Mike James, what the heck has anything to do with JVG? If they didn't trade him 2 years ago, they would have to let him go FREE last year! James said himself, multiple times, it was time for him to go for the big money, longer and bigger contracts. He got that from Toronto, and the Rockets couldn't afford him. How is that JVG's fault only?

3. Nachbar, you didn't even know his name, and yet you blame it on JVG? He was traded with New Orleans for David Wesley more than 2 years ago. Wesley was a huge factor 2 years ago with his veteran leadership and 40%+ 3 pointer shooting. In that year, Nachbar didn't do anything in New Orleans, except for getting play time to further develop himself, which Rockets couldn't afford to give him. He was then traded to the Nets. With Kidds and Carter on board, Nachbar is shining in the right situation and game for him. Are you suggesting JVG should spend 2.5 years to wait for Nachbar, the second rounder, and fully change team playing style to fit Nachbar, so that he would gain your praise in developing rookies?

You can always argue about his strategy in offensive flow, or his handle. But when you blame Mike James situation on JVG, you are letting pure hatred cloud your eyes.
