After another controversial year as a member of Team China, Gu has officially switched to Team Canada until further notice. She met with former Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his partner, global pop star Katy Perry, to publicly announce her new status as a Canadian citizen.

Maybe now the trolls and haters will back off of Gu and where she chooses to represent and let her skiing do the talking.
