Without super star, others can still play. With the correct strategy, role players can hang on the rival. They don't have to play as talent as Super stars do. But the basic pick and roll, post,run from baseline and cutin can be done by them. If your comments are right, how Greece beat Us in world cup? Basketball is a whole team game. Even in NBA, where the super star is emphasised, good strategy and team work are important, at least giving the super stars a break ing time.
