五十步笑一百步，大都呈现衰弱迹像。男足：中美都未获得入场券。女足：中国小组未出线；美国半决赛被淘汰。男排：中国未获入场券；美国小组未出线。女排：中国小组未出线；美国夺冠无望。男篮：中国未获入场券；美国夺冠无望。唯有女篮：两国都有拿牌的希望。其他大球类前瞻：2024，中国男足有望参加巴黎奥运。2028年落衫矶奥运将增加美式橄榄球项目，美国有望在这项目上连夺五冠，维持至少20年霸主地位。
