ur strongest friend is, if fighting in the cage. With those rules, can you or he win, or at least fight for 5 rounds? I used to see a guy (vietam) trained by a chinese monk (?) fighting in the cage. Some of his techniques are similar to 武术, i believe. He was pretty good, at least can have a very decent fight. He is not at the top of top for sure. Can any of your friends doing the same, even with the rules in cage?
