Until Lin distances himself from such fanatics,

they will continue to go overboard, and they will continue to hurt him, and his relationship with teammates and other basketball fans.

Jeremy said something about this before, some fans are a bit too much, but he's not gonna complain about it. That just encourages such craziness.

It's a fine line to walk, but Lin can't let nuts like these control the image of his fan base. It's not fair to himself, and not fair to his fans.
