Some kids may not know how lucky they are. Here is a rough list extracurricular activities over the years that he had participated. With the exceptions of the first two, all others are away activities.
I hope that some of them made an impact.
1. Two Chrildren Theater Plays in two summers in our small town, free, requires audition.
2. Two weeklong nature camps over two summers, free or minimum registration fee.
3. Three World Conferences of Odyssey Of Mind, two in Ames, Iowa, and one in Lasing ,Michigan
4. One TSA National Conference in Dallas, Texas.
5. One VEX Robotics World Conference in Lewisville, Kentucky
6. One National Quiz Bowl Comference in Atlanta, Georgia.
7. Five residential music camps over 5 consecutive summers.
8. Two team building summer camps with strangers, mostly outdoors
9. Two residential academic summer camps
10. London New Year's Day Parade
