It appears those two sample photos are not simple photos.  They have extra lighting for indoor portion.  For example, the shadow area in sample 1 is almost as bright as the shadow outside.

Sample 2 is more obvious: the shadow area on the right side has extra lighting, but the shadow on the left side is darker (which should be the case without extra lighting).

So it is not the extra dynamic range, but excellent lighting technician/engineer at work.  It is said that the lighting engineer is paid as much as the photographer in filming a movie.
