no, coupling w/o stop.

go home depot or lowes look for 1/2"(assume you have 1/2" pipe) copper pressure cxc coupling without stop. so you can slide the coupling to make it not blocking, after you put in the fixed section, slide the coupling to cover the new section and old section, then sweat them.

you need two coupling w/o stop and a new section of pipe.
