雪鸮

雪鸮又名白鸮、雪猫头鹰、白夜猫子，是一种白色或褐白相间具横斑的猛禽，鸱鸮科的一种大型猫头鹰。栖息于北极苔原，有时向南到欧洲、亚洲和北美洲。体长约60公分（约2尺）。翅宽；头圆形，不具耳羽束。吃小型哺乳动物（如野兔和旅鼠）和鸟类。营巢于开阔的地面上。
