To get to Torrey Pines State Beach, it’s best to start from Torrey Pines State Reserve parking.
However, it’s 2 miles from Torrey Pines State Reserve parking to Black's beach. It's good exercise. But it takes a little too much time for people from other cities. Long long ago, the beach was owned by Mr. Black. The widow of Mr. Black was very unhappy that the name of her late hu*****and is connected with the nude beach.
牛人们 (including all surfers) drive thru Torrey Pines Scenic Drive (as I recall, it's long time ago, or Salk Institute Rd), all the way near the end. There is a parking lot (on dirt) on the left side. (On the right side, it's the glider port.) They go down the cliff.夹着冲浪板，三跳两跳就到底了。But it's a rough road.
The area around the glider port is a good place for cliff viewing and picture taking of gliders. If you have never been there before, it’s worthwhile to go. I do not remember any pictures of gliders posted on WXC.
Most people park their cars (free) on La Jolla Farmers Road (La Jolla, CA 92037. You can google it). There is no sign on the road leading to Black's beach. The entrance is facing Blackgold Road. It’s a paved road going down for emergency vehicles etc, with a chain to stop the average driver. But walkers and bikers can pass and the road leads to the southernmost part of the beach.
