to be honest, i will go for the d7000. that is just because
1. d7000 is a good camera for low light too. i use my camera for indoor mostly, so low light photography is a big thing for me. to be honest, if a camera can perform well at low light condition, i expect that it won't fail me at outdoor with plenty light available. after all, the most important thing for a camera is light.
2. i am not a canon user. it is not fair that i just choose nikon over canon. however, it is well known that the nikon d700, d3, d3x, d3s have generally a little better performance at low light situation compared to the similar level of canon cameras. i read a review comparing d7000 to the d3 and 5d mark ii at the high iso setting and d7000 is performing very well. that is probably because of the noise reduction function of the camera. here is the review:

3. if i have $3300 at my disposal, i will not get the set of lens you mentioned. I will get a wide lens and a tele lens with at least one of the lens being close to pro grade lens. here will be my combo if i order it from amazon.com with the discount on the lens offered right now:

the total comes to $2953 which is less than what your budget is with better lens than your choices. Note that amazon is out of the body only choice for d7000, otherwise you only have to to pay $1200 for the body without the so so 18-105 lens. then it gets even cheaper at $2653. it seems like it is hard to get a hold on the d7000. i only saw it available on amazon once. you can wait for it if you want. the lens discount deal was there for a long time already, i think it is not going to disappear, but i can not be sure! dont quote me on it!
