Thank you all for your help.  I have just ordered an Olympus Pen E-Pl1 at amazon.com for $499.70.  I have also ordered three books:


Olymbus Pen E-Pl1 for Dummies, $19.79


Digital Photography for Dummies, $16.49


Understanding Exposure: How to Shoot Great Photographs with Any Camera, $14.49


This should be a good packet for any beginner, I guess.


I greatly appreciate the advices I got from here.  I will study and practice immediately after I get my new camera and the books. I am also plan to buy a Canon DSLR camera later.
