最后一天的冬奥火炬传递－－来自English Bay的报道

今天，2010年2月12日，温哥华冬季奥运会倒计时的最后一天，火炬传递进行到了白热化的阶段，离开幕式只有几个小时了。
 
清晨７点多，我背着摄影包，步行来到了英吉利海湾（English Bay），火炬交接仪式将于７点５５分在冬奥标志Inukshuk－－因纽特人所造的石人这里进行。 我刚刚到达的时候，这里就已经聚集了很多等待的人们。

来了来了，终于来了，警察簇拥护卫着33号火炬手来了。场面有些乱，在警察的"Ｂack up！ Ｂack up!" 声中，我被挤到了后面。


 



火炬交接的瞬间，众人欢呼的一刻





新的接力手，是Terry Fox的父亲。Terry Fox是加拿大人都很熟悉的英雄，18岁身患癌症依然横跨加拿大慢跑为癌症研究筹集资金。23岁因癌症扩散不幸去世，但是他的精神鼓舞着加拿大的人民，每一年，都有无数的人们以他的名义跑步继续为癌症基金捐款。





今天的火炬手，是温哥华中央图书馆的工作人员。她的脸上，有种释然又自豪的甜美笑容。


 



尽管仪式结束了，人们依然不愿意离去，红色交织，留下纪念。


 



石人Inukshuk已成为一个希望与友谊的象征，表达了永恒且热情好客的民族，并以此欢迎世界各国的人到加拿大，这就是本次冬奥会徽的象征意义。

今天的加拿大，无法不自豪，今天的温哥华，无法不令人注目。此刻的我，无法不被这样的气氛感染。


我爱中国红，我也爱加拿大红。祝福加拿大！祝福中国！
