I used D70s + 18-200 mm lens for our Iceland trip (hate to carry more lens, shoulders hurt!). Photos out of Jokulsarlon, a glacier lake, were acceptable (well by myself). We were on the land, with tripod. If you are on a cruise, depends upon how 'stable' the cruise boat could be.
