Sigma 30mm f/1.4 is a really sharp lens, even at f/1.4

I do not know about 35/1.4, but Canon (and Nikon) 50mm f/1.4 is VERY soft at f/1.4.

So if you need a sharp lens at f/1.4, Sigma 30mm f/1.4 will do it. Plus 30mm is a more useful focal lens for indoor photography. Plus the good news: it also works on Nikon.
