白沙公园(White Sands National Monument）

白沙公园位于新墨西哥州的Alamogordo 附近。

据说，那白沙是在冰河时期（Ice Age)，由石膏石(Gypsum)形成的。

那里的白沙沙丘大约有275平方英里，白沙公园只占40%，大约占地面积为115平方英里。

为保护白沙和便于人们参观，1933年被定为：National Monument。
