应该是从 Peregrine falcon 开始的；The Peregrine Fund 的创始人 Tom Cade 在 Cornell University 建立了一个 Lab.  it's amazing what they could do to manipulate the bird, such as collecting sperm from the male. For those interested, you can borrow the book "Return of the Peregrine" from your local library.
