I think the answer is no.  But I cannot find any proofs from the books and on the internet. My reason is that since the slack variables are not in the original question, they should not be part of the solution.  If a method , such as Simplex method produced a such optimal solution, we can just ignore these variables.  Therefore, it is not useful to include them in a solution. Also, if an optimal solution contains only the slack variables, it not a solution at all.
