There is an interesting corollary to this

In medieval Europe, executioners who had served for twenty years were eligible to become doctors, so in a way executioner was a primitive medical school. However, they also had to know Latin, so many of them physically ate Latin textbooks.

Edere libros Latinos amo. Deliciosos alibilesque sunt. Cum Angli linguae Germanicae sint, tamen circiter centesimae sexaginta verborum ex lingua Latina veniunt.

But authentic Latin is written entirely in capitals, without any spaces or punctuation marks.
