no... the answer are two distinct numbers, but it is valid only if the two numbers in the problem statement are allowed to be equal. that is to say, if the guy who picks the number tells Mr P and Mr S that he is picking two distinct numbers from [3, 100], then the problem has no solution.

anyway, I think the problem is too much to be calculated by hand...
